Cleaning Tips
In addition to frequent vacuuming, it is important to clean your carpet on a regular basis. Cleaning systems will remove the oily, sticky soil that vacuums leave behind and will help keep your carpets looking new over time.
FACT: Homeowners can remove 99% of all stains if they are cleaned in the first few minutes. The longer a substance chemically reacts with the carpet; the harder it will be to remove it.
Steps to Removing Stains
- Remove any solids with spoon or spatula.
- Apply Carpet Technologies HomePro Spotter to the stained/soiled area. Avoid saturating fiber.
- Use a clean, white, absorbent cloth. Scrub lightly and then blot to absorb the stain into the cloth.
- Repeat steps 2-3 as needed.
*For upholstery or delicate fibers, apply spotter to the cloth, then blot stain.
*If you do not have Carpet Technologies HomePro Spotter, you may use a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and warm water. |
